Meet Care Exposure’s Pilot

Renan Augusto is a trusted advisor in the aging support space, with a proven track record of helping hundreds of families navigate care decisions with confidence, calm, and clarity. He founded Care Exposure to bring something new to the region: personal concierge support for aging adults and their families in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and surrounding areas – grounded in compassion, built on trust, and free from clinical pressure or sales tactics.

Before launching Care Exposure, Renan led client relations and digital strategy for a multi-million-dollar home care agency in Montgomery County, where he served as a direct point of contact for families beginning care. That role gave him rare insight into what families truly need: a trusted advisor who listens, communicates clearly, and understands the emotional weight of every decision. Whether helping seniors stay safely at home or guiding adult children through long-term care planning, he believes that every family deserves support that’s both personal and professional.

Renan holds a Master of Science and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. His experience working across cultures, generations, and care needs allows him to build strong connections with clients from all walks of life. Over the years, he’s supported families through senior living decisions, home safety assessments, and aging-in-place strategies – always with a calm, human-first approach.

In addition to leading Care Exposure, Renan proudly serves as Chair of the Marketing Committee for GROWS, the Grassroots Organization for the Well-being of Seniors. Based in Rockville and serving the greater DMV region, GROWS connects senior care professionals and advocates working to elevate quality of life for older adults across our communities.

Certified Dementia Practitioner in Senior Care Marketing

Renan Augusto is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP), a nationally recognized program for professionals supporting individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. This certification reflects Renan’s deep understanding of the aging population and reinforces his ability to support families with compassion, clarity, and practical guidance during some of life’s most emotional and complex moments.

Through Care Exposure, Renan helps families across Montgomery County, Maryland, and the greater Washington, D.C. region navigate dementia-related care decisions with steady support and concierge-level coordination — whether they are planning ahead, exploring memory care options, or seeking ways to safely age in place at home.
